The walkthrough was unlike anything I expected. Harith went through every room and explained what he was looking at — the outlet arrangement in the master bedroom, a switch wired oddly by a previous contractor, things I would never have noticed. The notes he left were genuinely useful, not just a receipt.

I had three pendant lights brought back from Japan — wasn't sure if they'd be compatible with local wiring. Suresh assessed them beforehand, confirmed they were fine, and installed all three cleanly. There was a bit of ceiling patching needed around one hole and he sorted that too without my having to ask.

The panel had been tripping for months. Harith spent most of the morning going through it systematically. He found two overloaded circuits and one MCB not operating correctly. He explained each finding before asking how I wanted to proceed. It didn't feel like a sales pitch — just an honest conversation about options.

I wanted to know the unit's condition before tenants moved in. The walkthrough report was clear enough to share with my property agent — it covered everything from socket condition to the air-conditioning circuits. The written notes made it feel like a proper document, not just a verbal summary.

Five ceiling fans replaced, including two with remote control kits. Suresh managed all of them in one day. He was neat — no tools left around, no dust on the furniture. Everything worked when he left and I got a brief note on which remote corresponds to which room. Small detail, but I appreciated it.

My older house had a panel nobody had touched since the nineties. Harith was honest — some components were past their useful life, some were fine. He presented two options at different costs and didn't push the expensive one. The labelling alone was worth it. I finally know what each breaker does.

Three visits, in detail

Case 01 · Kepong, KL · March 2026

New occupant, inherited installation

The situation

A homeowner had recently moved into a twenty-year-old terrace house. Previous occupants had modified wiring informally over the years, and the panel labelling was in a language she didn't read. She wanted a clear picture before settling in fully.

What we did

A full household walkthrough covering all rooms and the distribution board. We identified four circuits with inaccurate labelling and two kitchen outlets with non-standard wiring. Notes were left in English with a hand-drawn sketch of the panel layout.

The outcome

The homeowner came away with a working map of her installation and a prioritised list of items worth addressing when her budget allowed. She booked panel work three months later. Duration: just under two hours.

Case 02 · Damansara Heights, KL · April 2026

Designer renovation, imported fittings

The situation

An interior designer's client had sourced lighting from Italy, Denmark, and Japan. Some used non-standard connectors. The original contractor declined to install without documentation the designer couldn't provide.

What we did

We assessed each fitting ahead of the visit. One required an adapter for compatibility. We sourced the adapter and installed all eight fittings across two days, testing each one before moving to the next.

The outcome

All eight fittings installed and functioning. The designer received a brief written note on the adapter used and where compatible replacements could be found locally. No ceiling damage; thorough clean-up each day.

Case 03 · Sri Hartamas, KL · March 2026

Repeated tripping, unresolved for two years

The situation

A household had experienced repeated circuit breaker trips on the kitchen circuit for two years. Two previous electricians had visited without resolving it. The homeowner was willing to try once more.

What we did

A systematic panel inspection and load testing revealed a failing MCB tripping under load well below its rated capacity. We replaced the component, tested the circuit under realistic load, and rechecked surrounding circuits for similar wear.

The outcome

No further tripping in the six weeks following the visit. The homeowner received a written summary including the component replaced, test results, and observations on two nearby MCBs worth monitoring. Duration: four hours.
