1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions:
- "Service" means any of the home electrical services offered by Boreal Veske, as described on our website
- "Client" / "You" means the individual who books or requests a service
- "We" / "Us" / "Boreal Veske" means the service provider operating under the name Boreal Veske, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
- "Agreement" means the understanding formed when a booking is confirmed between both parties
- "Website" means the website at https://boreal-veske
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website, submitting an enquiry, or booking a service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. Use of our website constitutes acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
3. Services Offered
Boreal Veske provides residential home electrical services in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Current services include:
- Household Electrical Walkthrough — a room-by-room review with written notes (RM 535)
- Fitting & Fixture Installation — installation of lighting and related fittings (RM 1,375)
- Main Panel Work — inspection, testing, and component attention for distribution boards (RM 3,105)
Service availability is subject to scheduling capacity and geographic reach within Kuala Lumpur and the immediate Klang Valley area. We reserve the right to decline a booking if the work falls outside our scope of practice.
4. Bookings and Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed when we have communicated a date and time to you and you have acknowledged the arrangement. We will make reasonable efforts to honour confirmed bookings. In the event that we must reschedule due to circumstances outside our control, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer the earliest available alternative.
5. Pricing and Payment
Published prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of labour, standard consumables, and documentation (notes and labelling where applicable). Prices do not include replacement components (such as new MCBs or RCDs) unless otherwise agreed before the visit.
If the scope of work differs materially from what was originally agreed, we will discuss the difference with you before proceeding. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, DuitNow, or cash. For walkthrough services, payment is made at completion. Deposits may be requested for panel work appointments.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We ask that cancellations or requests to reschedule be made at least 48 hours before the confirmed appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice for panel work bookings (which require a longer reserved time window) may result in a cancellation fee of RM 150 to cover preparation costs. No cancellation fee applies to walkthrough or fitting installation bookings cancelled with reasonable notice.
7. Client Responsibilities
To allow us to carry out the service effectively, you agree to:
- Provide access to the property and relevant electrical installations at the agreed time
- Ensure an adult is present for the duration of the visit
- Disclose any known hazards or non-standard conditions in your electrical installation
- Not request work that falls outside what was agreed at booking without prior discussion
8. Scope Limitations
Our services cover residential electrical installations within Malaysian Standards. We do not undertake new wiring layouts, installations requiring building permits not already in place, or work on commercial or industrial-grade systems. If during a visit we find that the scope exceeds what we can safely or lawfully perform, we will inform you and advise on next steps.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, structure, and design, is the property of Boreal Veske. You may view and share the content for personal, non-commercial use. Reproduction or redistribution for commercial purposes without our written consent is not permitted.
10. Disclaimers
We provide services with reasonable care and skill. However, we do not represent that our findings during a walkthrough are exhaustive of all possible electrical conditions in a property, nor that they constitute a formal electrical inspection certificate. Clients requiring a formal inspection certificate for legal or property transaction purposes should engage an appropriately licensed inspection body.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, our liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the fee paid for that service. We are not liable for consequential, indirect, or special damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Boreal Veske against any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, your failure to disclose material information about the property, or any misuse of information provided during our visit.
13. Termination
Either party may withdraw from a booking before work commences, subject to the cancellation terms above. Once work has begun, withdrawal will be handled on a fair pro-rated basis for any portion of the service not yet completed.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from these Terms or from a service provided by Boreal Veske shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We encourage resolution through direct communication before any formal process is initiated.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
