Boreal Veske was founded in Kuala Lumpur in 2014 by a small team of electrical workers who had spent years in commercial and residential projects across the Klang Valley. The observation that drove the founding was simple: most homeowners had no reliable way to understand what was happening inside their walls. Technicians came, did their work, and left — often without explanation.
We set out to change that. The name Boreal Veske was chosen to suggest something quiet and considered — northern in its patience, and structured like a well-kept bag: everything in its place, nothing unnecessary. That spirit carries through to how we work. We document. We explain. We leave notes.
Over the past decade, we've worked in apartments and bungalows, heritage shophouses and new developments, from Cheras to Bangsar to Mont Kiara. The homes change; the approach stays the same. Every visit is treated as an opportunity to help a homeowner feel more confident about the space they live in.
Our mission is straightforward: provide home electrical services that leave people better informed and more at ease than before we arrived. We measure success not by the number of jobs completed in a day, but by whether the person we served actually understood what we found and what was done.

Lead ElectricianHarith has been doing residential electrical work in the Klang Valley for over fourteen years. He leads most walkthrough and panel visits and takes particular care to explain clearly — never assuming prior knowledge.

Project CoordinatorWei Keat handles bookings, follow-up questions, and scheduling. He's the first point of contact for most clients and ensures every job has the right preparation before our team arrives.

Installation SpecialistSuresh focuses on fixture and fitting installation. He has a steady hand with decorative and imported fittings and is thorough in testing and clean-up before calling a job complete.
Standards and practices
Licensed work
All electrical work is performed in accordance with the Electricity Supply Act 1990 and relevant Malaysian Standards (MS IEC 60364). Our electricians hold current certificates of competency issued by the Energy Commission of Malaysia (Suruhanjaya Tenaga).
Safe methods
We isolate before we work. Every panel intervention follows a lock-out procedure. We carry the right tools for each task and do not improvise with unsuitable equipment. Your home's supply is left stable and properly labelled.
Thorough testing
Fixtures are tested before we leave. New circuit components are verified for proper operation. We don't assume a connection is sound — we confirm it. You watch the test if you'd like to.
Privacy and discretion
We work only in the areas of your home relevant to the job. Client details and home information are not shared. Enquiry and booking information is stored securely and used only for service purposes.
Clean-up included
We remove our waste, pack our tools, and leave the work area as we found it. Installation debris is disposed of properly. We don't consider a job complete until the space is tidy.
After-visit support
Questions after a panel visit are welcomed. If something in our notes needs clarifying, or if you notice something that concerns you in the weeks following, reach out and we'll respond promptly.

Boreal Veske provides residential electrical services throughout Kuala Lumpur and the surrounding areas of the Klang Valley. Our work spans a broad range of home types: single-storey and double-storey terraced houses, semi-detached and detached properties, high-rise condominiums, service apartments, and older pre-war properties with non-standard installations.
We are familiar with the electrical infrastructure typical of Malaysian homes — TNB supply configurations, the use of single-phase and three-phase distribution boards, common wiring arrangements from different decades of construction, and the particular challenges of older properties where the original wiring may have been modified more than once. This familiarity shapes how we approach each visit: with realistic expectations and the vocabulary to explain what we find.
Our fixture installation work covers the full range of residential lighting — from straightforward ceiling light replacements to more involved installations involving imported or designer fittings, track lighting systems, recessed downlights, and ceiling fans with integrated lighting. We are comfortable discussing placement and load considerations before work begins.
Panel work at Boreal Veske includes assessment and, where appropriate, selective upgrading of distribution board components. We do not recommend wholesale replacements where targeted attention will serve the household better. Our written summaries after panel visits are designed to be kept and consulted — not technical reports, but plain records of what was found, what was done, and what, if anything, is worth monitoring.
